Walgreens Deals 3/31


I went to Walgreens today to take advantage of the 15% coupon that is good for TODAY 3/31 ONLY. Give the coupon to their person checking you out FIRST.

First, I wanted to give a few quick tips for shopping at Walgreens (aka Wags) because I know there are a lot of drugstore newbies out there that have questions.
  • Walgreens doesn't use a "card" like Rite Aid or CVS.
  • Walgreens has Register Rewards ("RR") that print out with your receipt. An example is Buy 2 Biore products, get $5 in RR. You would pay for the Biore products, (use coupons to make a good deal) and leave with $5 for your next trip. *or break up your transaction to use them in the same trip*
  • You can use a Manufacturer coupon with a Walgreens coupons (Wags coupons can be found in coupon books (baby, beauty, diabetes, monthly) around the store)
So here is the deal for today:

Transaction #1:

Used 15% for all products:

DEAL: Edge or Skintimate Shave Cream or Gel 6or7 oz- 2/$4 and get $2 RR with 2 (1.70each with 15% off)
Bought: 1 Edge and 1 Skintimate
Coupons: $0.55/1 Edge coupon and $0.55/1 Skintimate coupon (3/20 or 3/27 SS)
Total out of pocket: $2.30
Get a $2RR
Total after reward: $0.30 for BOTH

DEAL: Participating Nescafe Taster’s Choice products- get back one of the following Register Reward
Buy 2 = $2 RR, Buy 3 = $3 RR, Buy 4 = $4 RR (Monthly RR deal – valid through 4/17)
Bought:  4 Nescafe Taster’s Choice 7pks 2/$2
Total out of pocket: $3.40
Get back a $4 RR
Total after reward:  all 4 for FREE + a $0.60 moneymaker!
(I didn't have these but you could make this deal sweeter with these coupons: 4 $0.50/1 coupons found in the 2/13 RP)
FINAL FOR TRANSACTION #1:  $5.70 PLUS get back $6 in RR, meaning you made $0.30 on this deal!
(I had $4 in RR from last week, so I paid $1.91 out of pocked on this one)

Transaction #2:

Used second 15% off coupon

**This one is tricky b/c if they take off the original price for the Buy One Get One your total will only be $5.94 and you will only be able to use the $4 RR from transaction #1**
